Wynonna To Be Honored with Cecil Scaife Visionary Award

Wynonna will receive the Cecil Scaife Visionary Award for 2010 on Tuesday, August 24th in Nashville. The invitation-only ceremony will take place at the Tennessee Governor's Residence, and Wynonna will be honored for her contributions to Nashville's community and music industry. The evening will also include music tributes from friends and a proclamation from U.S. Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn. All proceeds from the event benefit the Cecil Scaife Music Business Scholarship Endowment for an educational scholarship to be given in Wynonna's name.
